The Council’s Response
The information you have requested is exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act. Section 21 (2a) states that information which is reasonably accessible to the applicant (even if it is accessible only on payment) is exempt. This is an absolute exemption.
A response to Q1 –Q2 is available to view on Council"s website. Details on planning applications for housing developments can be found using the link below.

The Freedom of Information and Data Protection (Appropriate Limit and Fees) Regulations 2004 has set the appropriate limit as £450 based on a charge at £25 per hour. The appropriate limit is represented by the estimated cost of one person spending 2½ working days (or 18 hours) in determining whether the Council holds the information, and locating, retrieving and extracting the information requested. Consequently the Council is not obliged to respond to your request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.
If you were to limit your request to we may be able to respond to your request within the time limit. However, we cannot guarantee that this would be the case.
Any reformulated request the department receives from you will be treated as a fresh FOI request. Please send any FOI requests to the Information Management Team via our webform https://hackney.gov.uk/foi-request or to [email protected]
