N/A. As a safeguarding children’s partnership working with statutory and non-statutory agencies across the City of London and Hackney, we are committed to a safeguarding first approach, i.e. always doing what we believe is best for children. Whenever possible, we therefore share the outcomes from serious case and other learning reviews that we commission or participate in. We do this via publishing such cases on the CHSCP website.
The main exception to such an approach would be when to do so might interfere with an ongoing criminal investigation or jeopardise the health or wellbeing of a child or other person involved in the review. In such circumstances we do not publish. We do however make alternative arrangements to share learning from such cases with appropriate safeguarding professionals.
