Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, received 12 May 2020. Your request has been considered and our response is in bold below.

Facilities in your locality, primarily categorised as "Residential substance misuse" or service type "Residential substance misuse treatment and/or rehabilitation service" which, between 31st January 2020 and 12th May 2020 informed you of a temporary closure/pause of service/currently unable to accept clients and/or an announcement of furlough.

The Council’s Response

Please be advised that at this moment, we are unable to provide any analysis or further information on how we respond to queries on vulnerable residents, etc, as the situation relating to the COVID Virus and the governmental advice is still ongoing. We are also of the view that you may feel that we have not addressed your request, as you so wish and in this case we would like to offer our sincere apologies about this.

However due to the current climate, please continue to browse the pages on our website for ongoing news of the council"s support and advice in relation to the coronavirus and the impact on staff and Hackney community.

Your request should be submitted to us within 40 working days of receipt by you of this response. Any request received after this time will only be considered at the discretion of the Council.
