You requested the following:
Please could you kindly let me know if your Borough offers any form of grant for the renovation/restoration of empty dwellings.
If such a grant is available please could you tell me the number of residential dwellings that have applied for a grant as well as the number that have received the grant. Please could these figures be separated into the year in which they occurred.
The Council’s Response
The information you requested is exempt under Section 21 (2a) of the Freedom of information Act 2000, as it easily accessible in the public domain.
The exemption states "Information which is reasonably accessible to the applicant (even if it is accessible only on payment) is exempt." This is an absolute exemption.
