Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, received received January 2019. Your request has been considered and our response is in bold below.
You requested the following:
In the s106 Agreement associated with planning permission 2012/3871 the sum of £465,000 was paid for
;cycling, Walking, Pedestrian Environment and Sustainable Transport Contribution
. This contribution was a pre-commencement requirement. Please provide details of how this money has been spent to date in the
as set out in the agreement to date, and how it is timetabled to be spent and allocated going forward.
The Council’s Response
The allocated S106 monies will be used for the Shoreditch Plan Phase 2 programme. This programme is currently in the development stage and nothing has yet been approved, however the schemes will be developed in line with the Phase 1 works. Some of these have already been delivered (such as Bowling Green Walk and Garden Walk) and others are on site now e.g. New Inn Yard and Worship Square).
The actual roads the funding will be spent on are yet to be determined, but will be in the vicinity of the site. Works are likely to occur in the 2019/20 financial year.
