Yetev Lev School climbing frame (FOI-3336)
Message from Hackney Council
Dear ***** *****,
Thank you for your Freedom of Information request received on 20/05/2019. For reference, the terms of your request are set out below alongside the Council"s response
Under the freedom of Information act please kindly forward your inspection report, notes, dates of your visit to the school to make your conclusion, and reason(s) behind your decision to install the acoustic fence at the school. Kindly comment and include the following as well:
1. why you agreed to keep the climbing frame where it stands especially knowing that the school is open 6 days a week and that the school playground is in use on a Sunday too.
2. Your decision to keep the climbing frame where is stands - especially when there is an ongoing investigation at the premises regarding the ongoing use of the playground and the noise impact it is having on the residents.
3. Why you did not insist on having the climbing frame removed and placed in a different part of the school playground(next to the main building) thus allowing reduced impact to the noise and breach to our peace and enjoyment to us as residents.
The information you have requested is exempt under Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act. Section 21 (2a) states that information which is reasonably accessible to the applicant (even if it is accessible only on payment) is exempt.
In relation to the above question, I can advise that all recent planning applications are available to view on Council"s website, including Officer reports setting out the justification for a planning recommendation and site photos.
